The LEGO Movie Videogame – Official Announce Trailer

The LEGO Movie Videogame will star what Warner Bros. Interactive describes as a “hilariously underprepared hero,” Emmet, as well as a band of resistance fighters including funkily-named characters like Wyldstyle and Vitruvius who will battle alongside The Batman

Through a serious of what must surely be humorous misunderstandings, Emmet (“an ordinary LEGO minifigure”) is mistaken for what the public believe to be a prophesized hero, ‘The Special,’ who will save the world from an evil LEGO character. During the game you’ll be able to make use of something called the ‘Master Builders’ to create new LEGO constructions while also taking control of over 90 playable character inspired by the film of the same name.

“This is going to be an authentic LEGO experience like never before,” write Warner Bros. Interactive, “with a brand new LEGO visual animation style which simulates the movement and feel of actual LEGO toy sets.”

Due for release in February 2014, The LEGO Movie Videogame is out on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Wii U, 3DS, PS Vita, and PC.
