PlayStation Network maintenance scheduled for December 9th, lasts 8 hoursWritten by: / / 1 Comment
The next round of scheduled PSN maintenance will kick off this coming Monday, December 9th, PlayStation Europe has announced via Twitter.
The maintenance window extends for around 8 hours from 4pm GMT (6pm South African time) on December 9th until midnight, and will affect PS4, PS3, PS Vita and PSP owners.
The following services will be inaccessible during the maintenance window:
- PlayStation Store
- PlayStation Home
- Account Management
- Account Registration
- Transactions via the console
- sonyentertainmentnetwork.com website
Users may still be able to sign into their PSN account during the maintenance window provided they have previously done so in the five days prior to the maintenance.
Additionally, users can sign into PSN before the maintenance begins at 4pm GMT on December 9th if they want to play online during the downtime.
It’s currently unclear if this next round of scheduled maintenance will only affect PSN users in PAL territories or other users in different parts of the world.
