This week’s Media Create hardware chart features an all Nintendo top three which bodes well for the platform holder as the holiday season ramps up. 3DS XL sales were up by 29% week over week thanks in part to the release of Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2, while Wii U sales climbed by 36% despite there being no new releases for the console featured among the top twenty best-selling games of the week.

The PS Vita TV has now been out for three weeks in Japan and has shifted 55 431 units during this period. Sony’s microconsole is likely to perform a lot better in the West but the company has yet to reveal when it will be available in North America and Europe.

Here’s this week’s hardware chart in full (previous sales data appears in brackets):

• 3DS XL – 82 409 (63 709)
• Wii U – 28 518 (21 002)
