US PlayStation Store Update for November 5th: Metal Gear Rising story DLC now free

Written by: / / 6 Comments

This week’s PlayStation Store update is headlined by Call of Duty: Ghosts for PS3. Seeing as though you may want to wait for the next-gen version of this multiplayer-focused FPS, other highlights this week include Zen Studios’ physics-based “tower defense brawler” CastleStorm and 2.5D side-scroller Final Exam.

PlayStation Plus subscribers can now pick up the massive action RPG Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen free of charge, while Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance owners are in for a treat as both pieces of story DLC for the game (i.e. Jetstream and Blade Wolf) are now free to download. Many people (including myself) believe that this DLC should have been complimentary to begin with since Metal Gear Rising is a very short game by today’s standards, so it’s good to see Konami taking this route nine months after the game’s release.

You can browse through all this week’s new releases on the PlayStation Blog or directly on the PlayStation Web Store. Here are some highlights from this week’s Update:
