It’s fair to say that the 3DS hasn’t received too many games over the past few years which have really pushed its graphical capabilities. Resident Evil: Revelations was certainly a visual showcase for the system but other than that there hasn’t been too much to pick from.
Enter IronFall from VD-Dev – a 3DS eShop exclusive currently targeting a spring 2014 release. The developer previously worked on C.O.P. The Recruit which was praised for its advanced 3D graphics when it landed on the DS in 2009.
IronFall looks to be a cover-based shooter aiming to max out the 3DS’ graphical capabilities with a 60 frames per second refresh rate and tons of visual effects and techniques to boot.
