Namco Bandai Games has released twenty-four new screenshots for Dark Souls II showcasing many of the classes which were available in the beta including the Warrior, Soldier, Hunter, Sorcerer and Dual Swordsman. Also on show in these screens is the brand new gameplay mechanic of using a blazing torch to light your way in dark sections of the world. The torch, which can be lit at bonfires, is always held in your left hand so this will typically replace your shield and leaves you vulnerable to enemies’ attacks. If you switch back to your shield then your torch disappears and you are left at the mercy of the darkness.
