There has been some debate over whether Respawn Entertainment’s mecha first-person shooter Titanfall would ever make its way to PS4 given that the game is published by EA – a company with a history of multi-platform releases.
Now both EA and Xbox spokesman Major Nelson have confirmed that Titanfall is a lifetime exclusive – not just a timed exclusive. The game was previously announced for PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Major Nelson confirmed the game’s lifetime exclusivity via Twitter, writing:
Yes, @Titanfallgame game is exclusive. No, not a timed exclusive. It will only be available on Xbox One, Xbox 360 & PC

Meanwhile, Respawn Entertainment co-founder Vince Zampella hinted via the Tweet below that future games by the developer – including possible Titanfall sequels – will be released for PS4.
@AdanGarciaG Of course we will, just not the first Titanfall.
