As Turn 10 rightly points out on the official Forza Motorsport blog, the realistic racing series has a strong history of providing excellent post-launch support starting back with Forza Motorsport 2 and continuing on through Forza 4 and Forza Horizon.
Through a combination of à la carte downloads and season pass memberships, Forza fans have been able to add dozens upon dozens of motors to their virtual garages over the course of the series, and with Forza Motorsport 5 Turn 10 Studios will continue this fine tradition with what they’re calling the ‘Car Pass.’
For a single discounted price, the Car Pass will gain Forza 5 owners access to six monthly content drops comprising ten cars each, making for a total of sixty new cars that will be added after the game launches on Xbox One this year in select territories around the world.
Turn 10 promises that each new car will also include the full ‘Forzavista’ experience, with the option to “[walk] around the car, check out the interior, start up and rev the engine, learn about the car’s history and performance statistics” from within the game.
Will you be investing in the Car Pass for Forza Motorsport 5? A final price for the season pass wasn’t mentioned but we’re sure to get the details closer to the launch of Xbox One on November 22nd in select territories.
