After teasing the news earlier this week, Telltale Games has formally announced The Walking Dead: Season Two with a debut reveal trailer, story details and a batch of screenshots.
Season Two continues many months after the story seen in the first five episodes of Telltale’s The Walking Dead and stars key protagonist Clementine, a young girl orphaned by the undead apocalypse. In Season Two, Clementine has learned to survive on her own and is searching for safety.
“But what can an ordinary child do to stay alive when the living can be just as bad – and sometimes worse – than the dead?” writes Telltale.
As in the first season, but playing as Clementine this time, Season Two of The Walking Dead will task you with making decisions that will shape the story, while decisions made in the first season (as well as the single episode, 400 Days) will be brought into this new adventure.

The Walking Dead: Season Two – Reveal Trailer
The Walking Dead: Season Two is now available for pre-order on PC and Mac via Steam and the Telltale store with 10% off of the full season pass, but will also premier later in 2013 on home consoles, iOS devices as well as “additional platforms.” Season Two will comprise five episodes released as digital downloads for $5 each, with the full season concluding in 2014.
Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games, Dan Connors, said of The Walking Dead: Season Two:
“The terrifying nature of Robert Kirkman’s world has allowed Telltale to push the boundaries of interactive drama in video games to a place that has had fans anxious to know what will happen next in this series.
“Today we can finally lift the veil, albeit only a little, on how this story will continue, and we’ll soon be putting players in the shoes of a lead role that will challenge their expectations of how to survive in a world where no one can be trusted.”
