Grand Theft Auto V owners will soon be treated to new and free content this year when Rockstar releases the Beach Bum Pack and Content Creator tool, in addition to planned Social Club events and the promised $500 000 in virtual GTA$.
In early November, look out for the Beach Bum Pack which will add beach-themed vehicles and weapons all of which will be usable in both GTA Online and the story mode of GTA V. Customisation options for your online character are also promised, while the addition of “brand new action-packed Jobs to play with Gang Attacks, Survivals, Last Team Standings, Parachutes, Deathmatches and Races” are on the way, too.
In ‘the Fall,’ Rockstar intends to release the Content Creator for GTA Online, a tool that the developer says will let you create, publish and rate player crafted Deathmatch and Race Jobs. Rockstar proper will be “keeping [an] eye open for exceptional ones” and giving those creations the company’s official stamp of approval.
The first instalment of the promised ‘Stimulus Package’ for GTA Online was due for release last week, but Rockstar is keen on ensuring the game is stable before making any further major changes. A new patch for GTA Online is expected this week, after which players will receive $250 000 in GTA$, before another instalment arrives.
We’ll let you know when the planned title update arrives and when you can expect that free DLC, too.
