Dark Souls II beta period extended, next test date and times revealedWritten by: / / 3 Comments
Yesterday’s Dark Souls II beta test was beset with issues from the outset, most notably users being unable to co-op or invade each others’ worlds. Participants in the Americas also experienced problems logging in to the game’s servers and were thus effectively barred from the beta.
About twenty minutes before the beta was due to close yesterday afternoon, a message flashed up saying that another beta test has been scheduled for Sunday, November 10th between 7am GMT and 10am due to the unforeseen issues which compromised the test session. Hopefully the multiplayer issues which plagued the latest beta will have been fixed by then and our counterparts in North and South America will be able to join us for the next round of testing.
Dark Souls II will be released on March 11th in the US and March 14th in European territories for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Head over here for El33tonline’s previous coverage of the latest entry in this influential series.
