Pokémon X & Y has already sold more than 4 million copies worldwide so any bug present in the game has the potential to affect thousands of players. One of the most widely reported bugs thus far causes players’ save data to corrupt when saving in certain areas of Luminose City. This bug is particularly troublesome as it forces players to restart their game – losing dozens of hours of progress in the process.
Nintendo has now released a patch to address this issue which can be downloaded from the eShop. If this title update introduces any new bugs then I’m sure it won’t be long before we hear about it considering how many people already own the game.
Pokémon X and Y is now available worldwide, exclusively for 3DS. Head over here for El33tonline’s previous coverage of these best-selling titles.
