The PlayStation 4′s Party Chat feature is something a lot of gamers are looking forward to since it wasn’t an option on PS3. Earlier this year we learned that PS4 Party Chat will be free for all users and that cross-platform Party Chat with PS Vita players will be supported.
Now Sony has revealed that PS4 Party Chat will support the same number of players as its PS Vita variant does – up to 8 players in total. This detail was confirmed by the PlayStation Blog’s social media manager Sid Shuman in the comments section of a recent Killzone: Shadow Fall Q&A. Since Party Chat across PS4 and PS Vita is an option, you can have a party consisting of six players using their handhelds to communicate and two players using their home consoles, for example.
