Rumours (and reports that sound very solid) have begun to swirl around the existence of a brand new first-person shooter set in the Alien movie universe, this time (supposedly) in development at Creative Assembly with SEGA once again on publishing duties. Apart from a few stalwart supporters, the last game in the franchise, Aliens: Colonial Marines was critically rubbished with incredible behind-the-scenes development stories coming to the fore (read our review to see the general consensus).
Following on from Colonial Marines, would you give SEGA another chance?
Which other developers and publishers would you give a second chance to if they created a game that was wholly under par? Which developers continue to release average games after they rocketed to fame with a hit, but are still considered ‘ones to watch’ in the future because of their potential and former glory?
