While other online shooters have lots of potential to provide amazing moments and (ahem) ‘emergent gameplay,’ Battlefield 3 players are treated to these kinds of unscripted action set-pieces almost on a game-by-game basis – when you throw tanks, helicopters, jets, jeeps and over 24 players into a gigantic map filled with destructible buildings and fiercely contested objectives, exciting things are bound to happen.
In Battlefield 4, EA and DICE are keen to continue to provide these kinds of set-pieces while dialling the action up even further with player-triggered ‘Levolution’ moments, which aim to dramatically change the way you play and approach a regular game of Battlefield.
