It seems as though some Xbox 360 players of Konami’s latest football/soccer title, PES 2014, are still experiencing issues download an important patch to allow them to enjoy online play.
PES 2014 players were first asked to download a day one title update on Xbox 360, before a second patch was released to get all players synced up with the same game data, but some players are reporting problems downloading that second patch with a ‘Download File is Broken’ error message.
In a statement on the official forums, Konami has assured Xbox 360 players that the team is currently working on the problem with Microsoft, writing:
“Konami is continuing to investigate the issue currently preventing some Xbox360 users from playing PES 2014 online and would like to update users on progress. The PES Team has identified key issues and is currently preparing a solution, with the support of Microsoft.”
Konami will let everyone know when the fix has been released, which means we’ll also spread the word as soon as it has become available.
