The developer of creepy first-person experiences like Penumbra and Amnesia recently began showing off the team’s next horror game, SOMA, and today we’ve been given a much more in-depth look at this PlayStation 4 and PC game with a lengthy (and disturbing) gameplay video.
According to Frictional, SOMA is a game three years in the making and continues the teams “signature style of explorative horror, provocative storytelling, and unfathomable tension, free of distractive cut-scenes and combat,” and is described as an “aberrant tale of scientific inquiry and survival; an entropic exploration of synapse and circuit that wades through the delusions of human consciousness.”
