Following on from last week’s release of patch 1.03 for Dragon’s Crown, Atlus has announced that a new title update will be available in North America “very soon” which adds Cross-Play support. This new feature will allow PS3 and PS Vita players to team up over the PlayStation Network and explore dungeons together.
The game has supported Cross-Save from day one so this upcoming Cross-Play functionality feels like a natural extension of Vanillaware’s vision of Dragon’s Crown being a seamless experience whether you’re playing it on PS3 or PS Vita.
Dragon’s Crown is out now in North America and will be released tomorrow, October 11th in European territories. Head over here for El33tonline’s previous coverage of this stylish co-op beat ‘em up from Vanillaware and Atlus which includes John’s review.
