A couple of weeks ago Injustice: Gods Among Us was rated for PS Vita and now Armature Studio has confirmed that it has been charged with porting this DC Comics fighter to Sony’s handheld.
‘Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition’ includes all the DLC released for the PS3 version thus far which includes 6 new characters, over 30 new skins, and 60 new S.T.A.R. Lab missions. The game will be released as both a retail and digital download title on November 12th in the US and November 29th in European territories.
Armature Studio was responsible for the PS Vita port of Metal Gear Solid HD Collection as well as the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate so the developer knows a thing or two about optimising games for the platform. The company’s technical director, Jack Mathews, wrote on the PlayStation Blog that the PS Vita version of Injustice: Gods Among Us will have the same “beautiful lighting, destructible environments, and — most importantly — 60 FPS fighting” as the PS3 build.
