The new ‘PCH-2000′ model of PS Vita arrives in Japan on October 10th and Sony has begun advertising the handheld on TV to show consumers what they can look forward to when it’s released in six different colour schemes next Thursday.
The first TV spot released for the PS Vita 2000 is a brief and slightly bizarre affair which seems to suggest that colourful upgrades add some much needed spice to life. Take a look below:
The PS Vita 2000 was unveiled earlier this month and boasts a slimmer, lighter and rounder design. Other improvements include 1GB of built-in flash memory, longer battery life, and a Micro USB port for data transfer. Sony has opted for a LCD display in place of the original’s OLED screen, so we’ll soon see if this gamble pays off.
The new model has yet to be confirmed for a Western release.
