Capcom made waves recently by revealing that its upcoming role-playing game, Deep Down, was not only online based but it is a PlayStation 4-exclusive with assistance from Sony engineers to take full advantage of the console.
That’s not the end of it, either, because Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono has announced that Deep Down will be a free-to-play game, with an online beta test scheduled for early 2014. Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida spread the news in a tweet, writing:
Capcom just announced that "deep down" will be a f2p game on PS4, planning open Beta near the launch of PS4 in Japan. @Yoshi_OnoChin

Bearing in mind that the Japanese launch of the PS4 has been announced to be February 22nd, 2014, we hope we’ll be able to get hands-on with the game around about that time.
What do you think of the free-to-play news for Deep Down? Does that make you less interested in the game or is it only a good thing for PS4 owners?
