Earlier today Nintendo held a special Wii Fit U Direct broadcast where it was announced that Wii U owners in both North America and Europe can download a free one-month trial of Wii Fit U from the eShop beginning November 1st. The trial features all 77 activities from the full game, including 19 new training activities which are sure to get your pulse racing.
The download trial offer ends on January 31st, 2014 and players who take advantage of this special deal can gain permanent access to the game by purchasing its ‘Fit Meter’ accessory which goes on sale from November 1st and costs $19.99. This small portable device measures things like how many steps you’ve taken in a day or how much altitude you’ve gained or lost, and then communicates that data with the Wii Fit U software.
Here’s the aforementioned presentation in full in case you want to learn more about the one-month trial or the game itself:
Wii Fit U arrives at retail on December 6th in Europe and December 13th in North America, and is exclusive to the Wii U.
