One of the features many PlayStation fans have been requesting is to be able to sign in multiple PSN profiles from the PS3′s XMB. While this functionality hasn’t yet materialised, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe boss Jim Ryan recently confirmed that the PS4 will support up to four PSN profiles signed in at any one time.
He revealed this functionality during a question and answer session posted on the Norwegian website Gamer.no. Since the PS4 supports up to four controllers, this means that each player can be signed into their own profile during a local co-op or multiplayer game and earn Trophies on their PSN profile or use their character’s saved data.
Are you looking forward to utilising this particular functionality of the PS4? Let us know in the comments.
