Given Naughty Dog’s status as a first-party Sony and PlayStation developer, it’s a foregone conclusion that the studio has begun working on PlayStation 4 games in some capacity after it throttled the life out of the PlayStation 3 with titles like Uncharted 3 and The Last of Us.
The question is, what is the developer busy crafting now and what will it do with all of that extra power?
Interestingly, studio co-president Christophe Balestra recently tweeted out an image of a shipment containing 120 “more” PS4 development kits, which will allow more developers to easily test current projects in their native environment with additional software development capabilities and debugging tools – here’s the tweet:

The tweet comes at an interesting time, following a posting for a PlayStation 4 Uncharted game on GameStop’s German website – take a look at the posting over here. While most certainly a placeholder, it’s not unusual for retailers to accidentally reveal the existence of games before they’re formally announced.
Wishful thinking on the part of GameStop, or do you think they know something that we don’t?
What do you hope the next Naughty Dog project to be? A follow on from Uncharted or The Last of Us, or would you prefer an all-new intellectual property from the super talented studio?
