If you’re wondering how the next-gen version of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be superior to its current-gen counterparts then Ubisoft’s latest video for the game should answer many of your questions.
The developer is taking advantage of the PS4 and Xbox One’s substantially higher processing power to not only make the game look prettier but also to improve gameplay by creating a more realistic ocean based on real-world physics and by placing more vegetation in the game’s environments which react to the wind and rain around them as well as to your character’s movements.
Here’s the video:
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be released for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U on October 29th in North America and November 1st in PAL territories, and will be a PS4 and Xbox One launch title later in the month. A PC version is also expected before the end of the year.
