This year Namco Bandai has made a clear effort to explore the potential of a free-to-play model on consoles and PC for some of its most popular franchises including Tekken, Ace Combat and Ridge Racer. Now the publisher has revealed that another free-to-play game based on its SoulCalibur fighting series is headed exclusively to PS3 in Japan, North America and European territories.
‘SoulCalibur: Lost Swords’ will be a singleplayer experience featuring “numerous famous fighters” including Siegfried and Mitsurugi. Namco Bandai says that more information about the game will be announced at the Tokyo Game Show which runs from September 19th to September 22nd.
