One of the most surprising moments of Sony’s pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference held earlier today was when SCE President Andrew House unveiled PlayStation Vita TV – a small device which allows you to play PS Vita, PSP and PSone games on your TV.
PS Vita TV will initially launch in Japan on November 14th for 9 954 yen ($100) or 14 994 yen ($150) for the PS Vita TV Value Pack which includes a white DualShock 3 and 8GB memory card. The device features 1GB of internal storage just like the newly announced PS Vita 2000.
PS Vita TV will support the DualShock 4 in the future, and can be used to play PS4 games on a TV which is not connected to the console via Remote Play. PS Vita titles which rely on inputs not supported by the DualShock 3 or 4 such as backtouch, microphone or camera will not be supported by PS Vita TV.
