New details about hardware specifics for both the Xbox One and PS4 have been arriving thick and fast over the last few weeks, and the latest titbit concerns how many controllers can be wirelessly connected to each console at once.
Microsoft recently revealed on the Xbox One Wireless Controller product page that the console can support eight controllers at once, while Sony Computer Entertainment’s president of Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida, responded to a fan’s query on Twitter by saying that the PS4 can support four controllers simultaneously.
Interestingly, the reverse scenario is true during the current generation where the PS3 commands an advantage in this category, supporting seven controllers at once compared to the Xbox 360′s four.
Do you regularly connect more than four controllers to the PS3 simultaneously for sports games such as FIFA 13? Let us know in the comments.
