Killzone: Mercenary launches in many parts of Europe today and Guerrilla Cambridge has prepared a sizeable patch which players will have to download if they want to play online. The patch weighs in at 1190MB and updates the game to version 1.01.
The patch notes say the update adds “general stability fixes and performance optimisations”, which is a fairly vague description for a patch of this size. The digital version of Killzone: Mercenary takes up 3417MB of space on its own so users will be unable to fit both it and the patch on a 4GB PS Vita memory card.
Killzone: Mercenary will be released this Friday, September 6th in the UK and September 10th in the US. Head over here for El33tonline’s previous coverage of this ambitious portable FPS, which includes our recent review and preview from gamescom 2013.
