Square Enix won’t be the only publisher in town when Tokyo Game Show rolls around this month, because Sony has recently confirmed that it’ll be bringing a massive line-up of games to this year’s event, with over 50 titles planned for the company’s showcase.
Not only will PS Vita and PlayStation 3 games be on display at TGS 2013, with Gran Turismo 6, Beyond: Two Souls, PES 2014, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII and Tearaway confirmed, but PlayStation 4 titles such as Knack, DriveClub, Killzone: Shadow Fall and Wolfenstein: The New Order will also be there, alongside a new showing for Capcom’s Deep Down.
Deep Down was recently announced to be an online RPG, with hints alluding to the fact that it may just be a PlayStation 4 exclusive game whenever it makes its appearance.
Sony executives including Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida, Sony Computer Entertainment president and group CEO Andrew House and senior vice president Masayasu Ito are all set to deliver a combined keynote speech for TGS this year, titled ‘The World PlayStation 4 Creates.’ Should be interesting.
