When attending gamescom in Cologne, Germany, there are a few attractions you need to visit: The Dom Cathedral. The Chocolate Museum. The Rhein river (taken care of with a trip to the Chocolate Museum). And Sony’s sprawling PlayStation booth on the showfloor of the Koelnmesse event building. More or less in that order.
The public PlayStation area of gamescom is an annual delight with ample opportunities to play Sony’s latest, greatest and upcoming games but you’ll need to get there early, or visit on a day other than the traditionally packed Saturday, because as we discovered while shuffling through, if you want to use the central section of the booth as a means to continue on your journey you’re going to be taking in the sights and sounds for a while…
