Following on from the outstanding 2D action platforming extravaganza found in Rayman Origins in 2011, Ubisoft’s Montpellier team (headed up by the legendary Michel Ancel) is set to deliver another fantastic and brilliantly colourful title this week and next in Rayman Legends, which will release on August 30th in European regions and September 3rd in the US.
Rayman Legends will be out across Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC on launch, but it’s been revealed that the PS Vita version of the game won’t make the party and will only release later on September 13th so that the team can “apply the final level of polish gamers expect from a Rayman game,” according to a Ubisoft representative speaking to PocketGamer.
