The El33tonline gamescom 2013 Away Team (or #gct33m if you’re following along on Twitter) has ably survived the dreaded ‘Day 1′ of the show, and after having sat in on roughly two dozen videogame demonstrations in the last two days (and much, much more if you count EA and Sony’s press conferences) we’re ready for another dose of excitement and revelations.
Before we kicked off the first day of the show, we chatted very briefly about the events to come while discussing the types of games we were scheduled to see before witnessing a foreboding sight… find out what that was in the video and photo below:
El33tonline at gamescom 2013: A PlayStation kind of day, with a side of Xbox and dracula
- Day 1 of gamescom 2013 and the halls are already flooded
Why is the above photo an horrific sight? Technically, the first day of gamescom 2013 isn’t open to the public but gamescom organisers have tried something a little different this year, letting select public attendees into the Koelnmesse halls on what is traditionally a press-only day.
Saturday is usually the day that gamescom gets overwhelmingly bonkers as thousands of people squeeze themselves into the venue leaving very little room to move. If day one is already this busy, who knows what insanity Saturday will bring…
