The PS Vita was getting plenty of attention from Sony at its gamescom press conference held earlier in the week. In addition to announcing a bunch of exciting new titles for the handheld, the publisher also revealed that Borderlands 2 will be coming to the PS Vita in 2014.
Gearbox Software, 2K Games, and Sony have been overwhelmed with requests for a PS Vita version of the popular first-person shooter, and thanks to a new collaboration between 2K, Sony and Iron Galaxy Studios (Divekick) Borderlands 2 will be coming to the PS Vita.
The handheld version see players braving the harsh world of Pandora as one of four characters (Axton the Commando, Maya the Siren, Salvador the Gunzerker, and Zer0 the Assassin) as they attempt to defeat Handsome Jack and the Hyperion Corporation. Of course you’ll also meet a wide range of colourful characters on this journey, including Claptrap, Mad Moxxi and Tiny Tina.
