Activision has revealed what titles we can expect to see from the publisher at gamescom next week. The line-up includes Call of Duty: Ghosts, Destiny and Skylanders Swap Force, which will all be featured in the 190 degree cinematic theatre experience at the booth with video and gameplay footage.
The publisher is said to be building the next-generation buzz and anticipates that they will have “some of the most talked about and anticipated games at the show.”
While we just saw the multiplayer for Call of Duty: Ghosts detailed a little earlier in the week, those gamers attending the show will be the first consumers in the world to go hands-on with the multiplayer. Incidentally gamescom 2013 will also see the largest ever presence for Call of Duty, a mighty feat considering the size of last year’s presence. There will also be a multiplayer showcase livestream event on August 21st from 18:00 CET.
Destiny will also be showcased at the Activision booth, in a demo-theatre that is the biggest-ever built in the history of gamescom. Standing at 72 feet in length, 43 feet wide and the height of a three storey house at 26 feet high, it will feature 192 seats and showcase a seven player live demo set in Old Russia. A custom built Fallen statue is another highlight of the theatre, and will give visitors a creative photo opportunity, while they track down exclusive trading cards at giveaway points at the show.
Angry Birds: Star Wars will be on show at the Xbox booth, while Skylanders Swap Force will be at the Sony booth, where attendees can grab one of three exclusive T-shirts created for gamescom.
The El33tonline team will be reporting live from gamescom next week, so stay tuned for updates from the showfloor.
