The organisers of the Tokyo Game Show have released an exhibitor list, confirming that over 180 companies will be present at this year’s show in September.
Microsoft, absent at the show in 2012, will return to the expo once again. This despite an announcement last year that the publisher would skip Gamescom and the Tokyo Game Show in favour of focusing on “smaller, more localised promotions and experiences for press, partners, retailers and customers around the world.”
Sony will join Microsoft as one of the console makers to exhibit, while a strong line-up of third-party publishers will also be present. These include EA, Capcom, Square Enix, Namco Bandai, Bethesda Softworks and Sega.
There will also be a number of peripheral and smartphone companies as well as social game makers and many more on show at this year’s Tokyo Game Show which takes place from September 19 to 22.
