The Japanese videogame industry has been in a bit of a slump of late, but the release of Capcom’s 3DS exclusive Monster Hunter 4 on September 14th should ignite sales of the 3DS XL and 3DS, and set the software charts alight if previous sales of the Monster Hunter series are anything to go by.
To celebrate the game’s release, Nintendo and Capcom have partnered to produce two special edition hardware bundles in black and white respectively. Each bundle will retail for 26 000 yen and includes a copy of Monster Hunter 4, stylus, 4GB memory card, six AR cards, and a special MH4 starter guide.
