The PS Vita has no shortage of smaller, indie games headed its way over the next few months but there are far fewer full retail games coming to the platform this year that we know about.
One of the handheld’s unannounced games due in 2013 is a new LittleBigPlanet title according to Philippe Cardon, CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment France.
In an interview with Pockett, Cardon claims that Soul Sacrifice and a new LBP game will be two of the main titles that drive PS Vita sales during 2013. When asked if he was referring to last year’s LittleBigPlanet PS Vita, Cardon clarified that he was talking about “another LittleBigPlanet”.
If a new LBP title is indeed coming to PS Vita this year then it’s likely that Double Eleven and Tarsier Studios will return as the game’s developers based on the predominantly positive reception LBP PS Vita received.
What did you think of the first LBP game for PS Vita, released last September? Let us know in the comments.
