Game Developers Conference 2013 takes place this week and officially kicks off today, running all the way until the end of the week, March 29th.
It’s a chance for game developers from around the world to gather in one place (the Moscone Center in San Francisco) and attend entertaining but overall educational talks given by the top minds in games, with opportunities to meet with the best and brightest (as well as the most slovenly) personalities in the industry.
It’s also a chance for Epic Games to show off and give demos for the company’s next graphics and systems engine, Unreal Engine 4.
At GDC 2013, Epic Games will be demonstrating the visual bells and whistles (and underlying systems) of Unreal Engine 4 to prospective licensees, and the world, and GameTrailers has a very teaserly snippet of what we can expect to see this week – take a peek into the future:
