Italian videogame director and industry veteran Massimo Guarini is best known for his work on Shadows of the Damned and Naruto: Rise of a Ninja. Last year Guarini formed an independent studio called Ovosonico that specialises in creating new IP by “designing and developing original, unconventional and artistically-crafted” videogames.

Guarini recently announced that Ovosonico has partnered with Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios Europe to develop the studio’s debut title for undisclosed PlayStation platforms. Guarini will serve as director on the project.
