With Resident Evil Revelations’ release just a couple of months away, Capcom has shared some new details about the remake along with a full gallery of new screenshots.
Capcom has revealed that Rachel will be joining Hunk as a brand new playable character in the game’s co-op Raid Mode. Additionally, Resident Evil Revelations will feature two new enemies that weren’t in last year’s 3DS game – Wall Blister and a horrific, clawed creature that appears in Raid Mode once you’ve reached a certain level.
Wii U owners can look forward to a number of exclusive features including three different control schemes and Miiverse integration that allows you to post a ‘death message’ from the Game Over screen for other players around the world to see, or taunt your friends with the ‘creatures voice’ function that allows enemies in Raid Mode to have their thoughts personalised.
Resident Evil Revelations will also utilise Residentevil.net via various online events and in-game connectivity. For example, exclusive dioramas of the game’s characters and enemies can be collected through the online service, while custom parts and weapons for use in Raid Mode and items for Campaign Mode can be earned.
Here are some new screens that tie in with Capcom’s latest round of Resident Evil Revelations announcements:
