This week’s Media Create hardware chart sees the 3DS XL reclaim its accustomed number one spot while the PS Vita slips down to second place with another good showing of 36 028 units sold.
PSP sales are down by 42% week over week while all the remaining consoles on the chart recorded very similar figures to last week.
It will be interesting to see if PS Vita sales continue to fall following the two-week spike we saw after the handheld’s price was officially cut on February 28th, or if it can stabilise around its current 36 000 mark. Sony’s portable was typically selling around 10 000 units per week before the price cut.
