After weeks of hard-fought battles in the arenas of Gears of War 3, clan FLS Legion conquered the competition to reign as the undisputed champion of competitive Gears of War play in South Africa!

FLS Legion overcame fellow clan FLS Betrayal to take top honours in the South African Gears of War 3 Grand Finale tournament, having previously defeated Johnny Can’t Swim in the Semi Finals as well as GZ MCS, Button Mashers and RZ Auntie Jowie in the group stages.

Congratulations to FLS Legion, as well as FLS Betrayal, members of which will receive a collection of MS Points, Xbox LIVE codes and extras for their efforts, while third place finishers Button Mashers will also receive DLC codes for a job well done.

Thanks to prize contributions from Evo Points, Epic Games and El33tonline (as well as generous contributions from the community), a number of spot prizes, including copies of Gears of War: Judgment and MS Points vouchers, were also awarded to those who participated in the tournament – see who won their share of the bounty at Crimson Moon Rising’s post over here.
