Get your styluses out and your GamePads charged because this week’s eShop Update is finally upon us! The latest round of content includes demos for the aerial action game Chasing Aurora on Wii U and NARUTO Powerful Shippuden on 3DS. There are also a few new games to check out including the colourful puzzler Jewel Master Atlantis 3D for 3DS and a new DSiWare game called Goony.

Wii U Demos

• Chasing Aurora

  • Experience a game inspired by the dream of flight in Chasing Aurora for Wii U. As well as the single-player mode there are three different multiplayer modes, so there’s plenty of fun for all! Experience missions taken directly from the pair’s animated outings, meet familiar characters from the Naruto series and fight your way through countless enemies in this side-scrolling action adventure!

DSiWare

• Goony – £1.79 / €1.99 / 200 Nintendo Points

  • Goony is a one-button arcade game for casual and core gamers. You control Goony, a jelly-like creature, who is running down a road covered in hazardous obstacles. The goal of the game is to stay alive for as long as possible. If you fall off the road or fall from a high place, you lose the game. Goony is constantly on the go, and moves either left or right. You can switch the direction by simply pressing the +Control Pad. Special blocks, which can help you, are scattered across the playfield. The playfield is infinitely long and lasts until you make a mistake. The number of steps you took is your final score.
