In El33tonline’s Bioshock Infinite hands-on preview, I was at pains to impress upon anyone who dared read it (hoping not to spoil the game) just how much freedom you’ll have in combat encounters with your enemies, with a massive range of options available to you with the weaponry, supernatural Vigor abilities, Skyhook traversal and Elizabeth’s aptitude for tearing holes in the fabric of space.
In a brand new walkthrough video narrated by Bioshock Infinite lead combat designer, Andres Gonzalez, you’ll get to see most of what I was talking about in the preview flashing before your very eyes.
It may look kind of overwhelming and even confusing at times, but when I was playing the game it felt very natural swapping between Vigors and weapons, zipping around on the Skyhook lines and getting Elizabeth to help with Tears.
The chosen gameplay sequence below showcases the combat of Bioshock Infinite very well, so if you’re curious or not yet convinced, don’t miss it:
