The last time we heard about Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, it was not only known as ’The Gunslinger’ but it was announced as a downloadable first-person shooter from Ubisoft and original series developer, Techland.

Since then, the title has been cropped a bit, and while it’s not yet clear if those other details have changed since the game’s initial reveal, Ubisoft is teasing that we’ll find out more about the game soon following the release of a brand new in-game trailer, with a batch of accompanying screenshots.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger stars bounty hunter Silas Greaves, who will track down outlaws including Pat Garret, Jesse James and Butch Cassidy, allowing you to engage in legendary duels with these infamous gunslingers.

“From the dust of a gold mine to the dirt of a saloon,” writes Ubisoft, “Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is a real homage to the Wild West tales and era.”
