If we had to take a stroll through the videogame hall of fame the walls would be lined with sketches and the shelves brimming with statues of the different characters that have been created over the years. As we amble along the passageways we’d all pause to linger for a moment longer besides our favourite characters.

Each of these characters has their own set of strengths and weaknesses, but what if we pitted these characters against one another? Over the coming weeks we’ll be doing just that in our new Friday Face Off feature. We’ll choose two characters each week, and you’ll get to cast your vote as to who would win the face off. We’ll then tally all of the votes to see who won that particular bout.
