You’ll be able to drive around Fairhaven City in new cars from today as EA releases three downloadable content packs for Need for Speed: Most Wanted.
The new DLC packs include a new Airport world expansion (Terminal Velocity), tributes from famous action movies (Movie Legends), and classic rides from the Need for Speed franchise (Heroes). They are now available on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and PlayStation Network, and will arrive on Origin on March 13th.
Terminal Velocity introduces the Hughes International Airport, “an expansive new location in Fairhaven City that gives players more opportunities to race, jump and drift their way to becoming the Most Wanted racer.” It includes new singleplayer modes and new cars such as
the Porsche 918 Spyder 2013, BMW 1 Series M Coupe 2012, Audi RS3 2012, Ford Fiesta ST 2012 and Alfa Romeo Mito QV 2012. You’ll also get 136 new multiplayer milestones, 10 new multiplayer speedlists, 40 new billboards and eight new achievements. Terminal Velocity costs 1200 Microsoft Points or £11.99.
The Movie Legends pack includes “five of the world’s most iconic cars to have graced the silver screen.” The new cars include the Aston Martin DBS 2008 and Aston Martin DB5, Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am Special Edition 1977, Dodge Charger R/T 1970 and Shelby GT500 1967. You’ll also get eight new singleplayer sprint events, 136 new multiplayer milestones and 50 new license plates. Movie Legends is priced at 800 Microsoft Points or £7.99.
Heroes will give players the chance to enjoy five famous cars from the series: the Lamborghini Diablo SV (Need for Speed III Hot Pursuit), the Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) (Need for Speed Underground), the Nissan 350Z (Need for Speed Underground 2), the Porsche 911 GT2 (Need for Speed Undercover) and the ultimate Most Wanted car, the BMW M3 GTR (Need for Speed Most Wanted, 2005). You’ll get eight new high intensity races and Speed Runs, as well as 25 new liveries and 136 new multiplayer milestones. Heroes costs for 800 Microsoft Points or £7.99.
