One of the most exciting moments for PS Vita fans during Sony’s PlayStation Meeting was when PS4 lead system architect Mark Cerny demoed the upcoming console’s Remote Play functionality. Unlike PS3, Remote Play via PS Vita will work for the majority of PS4 games that don’t rely on the PlayStation Eye peripheral.
Cerny used his upcoming PS4 title Knack to showcase how smooth and crisp the Remote Play experience is on the PS Vita’s 5-inch OLED display. If you’ve tried out PS3 Remote Play then you’ll immediately notice that the image quality is quite a bit higher than what’s currently available via the PS Vita’s Remote Play app.
