The Wii U has been faltering in Japan over the past few weeks as a lack of new game releases results in weakened demand for Nintendo’s new console.
Thankfully a few major releases are headed to the Wii U during the coming months, with Square Enix recently announcing that its highly anticipated MMORPG Dragon Quest X will be released on March 30th in Japan.
The game will also be available as part of a Wii U console bundle which includes the Wii U Deluxe 32GB console, a black Wii U Pro Controller, a ¥1000 pre-paid card to use in the game, and five energy ball items which double your experience and gold collection for 30 minutes.
Dragon Quest X will also be available as a 16GB download from the Nintendo eShop on the day of release. Both versions of the game come with a code which grants players 20 days of free online play.
Dragon Quest X was released for the Wii on August 2nd 2012 in Japan. Square Enix has so far remained mum on a Western release for this subscription-based MMORPG.
